I had a wonderful day exhibiting at the Deer Spirit Woburn Mind, Body & Spirit Wellbeing Show at Woburn Village Hall from 10am to 4pm.
The event brought together a variety of exhibitors, therapists, readers, healers, and wellbeing practitioners, creating a welcoming space for visitors to explore different aspects of health, wellbeing, spirituality, and personal growth.
My stand introduced visitors to the fascinating world of herbal medicine through a hands-on sensory experience. People were encouraged to see, touch, and smell a range of medicinal herbs and learn more about their traditional and modern uses.
Visitors were also invited to sample my "Tea of the Day" – a refreshing Elderflower tea – while browsing information on herbal teas, menopause support, and what to expect when consulting a Medical Herbalist. Leaflets, flyers, and business cards were available for those wishing to find out more.
A particular feature of the stand was the display of fresh medicinal plants and herbs. These included St John's Wort, Marshmallow, Lemon Balm, Nettle, and Mint, alongside familiar garden herbs such as Rosemary, Thyme, Lavender, Sage, and Mint. Many visitors enjoyed discovering the medicinal properties of plants they may already have growing in their gardens.
The day provided a wonderful opportunity to meet people interested in natural health, herbal medicine, and wellbeing. It was a pleasure to share knowledge, answer questions, and connect with so many visitors.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat, sample the elderflower tea, enter the prize draw, or learn more about herbal medicine. I look forward to future Deer Spirit events and to continuing to share the benefits of herbs and natural healthcare within the community.
Here are some photos from the day, from setting up the stand to the finished display and the herbs that visitors were able to explore.
Hormonal Harmony Retreat Day
Exploring Herbal Support Through Peri-menopause & Menopause
July 5th 2026 Nourish Holistic Wellbeing and Healing Centre
I was delighted to be part of the Hormonal Harmony Retreat Day, where I shared my knowledge as a Medical Herbalist through a dedicated herbal workshop supporting women through perimenopause and menopause.
The session explored how herbs can be incorporated into everyday wellbeing, with the opportunity to experience a variety of herbal teas, tinctures, fresh herbs, and berries. It was wonderful to see such openness and curiosity as we explored the traditional wisdom of plants and how they may support women during times of hormonal change.
A heartfelt thank you to all the ladies who attended for embracing the experience and sharing such thoughtful conversations. It was a pleasure to be part of your day.
Thank you also to Nourish Holistic Wellbeing and Healing Centre and the team for hosting such a beautiful retreat and bringing together a space for women to connect, learn, and prioritise their wellbeing.
I look forward to continuing to share the benefits of herbal medicine and supporting women on their individual health journeys.
